Due to the rise in Covid cases we will temporarily be closing our office to the public and working remotely.  Everyone’s safety is of the utmost importance. We will still be available to serve you over the phone and through virtual meetings, so please feel free to give us a call with any questions that may arise. All of the staff are available to meet your needs.

Our offices will be closed beginning 8:00am on January 4th, 2022.

We will still be holding our scheduled classes over Zoom.

Please continue being safe and keep yourselves healthy.

What is the Independent Living Philosophy?

Independent Living is a philosophy and a movement of people with disabilities who strive for self-determination, equal opportunities and self-respect. They want the same choices and opportunities in their everyday lives as those without disabilities. They are experts in their own needs. A disability is only part of who they are. They are capable people who find creative ways to overcome barriers. Although people with disabilities are learning to accept and understand their own limitations; they choose to focus on their strengths and want their non-disabled neighbors to do the same.

Please take some time to let us know what you think about our services and the experience you have had with our staff.
