Before becoming an employee at Disability in Action, Lamont was a Safety Technician and was responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining safety programs to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Lamont retired from his career in safety, which he loved, but wanted to continue giving to the community. Lamont currently works part-time where he is loved and adored by the clients he assists daily.

Lamont has been married to the love of his life Shanda for over 26 Years. Lamont has 3 wonderful children and has been a father figure to over 10 children in the past 20 years.  Through guidance, support and knowledge sharing Lamont is great at empowering others. He is willing to go above and beyond to help anyone who is in need.
