Cassandra Mallard
Program Supervisor

Cassandra is the Program Supervisor at Disability in Action, a position made official in May 2025 after several years of dedicated service to the organization. She also manages the agency’s website and social media presence, helping to extend Disability in Action’s reach within the community.
Cassandra’s impact is reflected in her past accomplishments as an Independent Living Specialist, where she spearheaded the PAL program to empower group home residents as peer-support specialists, and as a Relocation Specialist, where she helped individuals transition from nursing facilities to independent living by securing housing, transportation, and essential resources.
Her personal experiences with disabilities, including autism, foster deep empathy and a unique perspective that strengthen her ability to connect with and advocate for those she serves. Cassandra is passionate about advancing disability rights and independence, and she is committed to creating opportunities for individuals to thrive in the communities of their choice.
